1 Hour Tooth Whitening provides formal framework to explore surface and erasure in a process that transforms the commonplace into a personal encounter. Repurposing toys with fact and fiction, waste and refuge. It also reveals the desire to give new relevance to what stands before us. This translation may serve as both literal and physical support in the dentistry.
Dolman’s work layers domestic ephemera and explores public space whilst Sommer’s operation is solidified, still and now deemed as artefact.
These immersive environments confront the ideas of mass production and convenience, when considering societies big appetite.
